Thank You Aurelia McKie

- 16 Year Volunteer with World Impact Ministries

Born in Engelfield, Saskatewan, Aurelia moved to St. Catharines, Ontario with her parents and two siblings in the 1940’s. There she married and had three lovely children.

Aurelia’s dad worked in the mines of Manitoba and then later at General Motors in St. Catharines, Ontario. Later on in life he developed Parkinson’s disease and lung cancer. Sick and with little hope given by the doctors, Aurelia’s mom read a newspaper advertisement for a healing meeting in St Catharines by an evangelist. Neither Aurelia or her parents were born again at the time. At that meeting, Aurelia’s dad was healed of cancer, and Aurelia and her parents were born again. This was 1976.

Aurelia worked as an office receptionist at Seaway News Company. Upon retirement in 1994, she committed her life to service for the Lord, volunteering with World Impact Ministries. Many of those years, her service took place in the mail department of this ministry. For those who receive letters from Pastor Peter Youngren and World Impact Ministries, your letter has been touched by Aurelia McKie at some point during those 16 years.

Her friends in the mail department, friends whom include her daughter Linda, commented that as she would prepare the mailings she would pray over each piece. Your life has been touched by Aurelia McKie.

Aurelia is 80 years old, and her hands are not as strong as they once were. Aurelia was recently celebrated at World Impact Ministries with a second retirement party. She commented that she felt in her spirit a new season of prayer had arrived in her life. Aurelia is a great Gospel Advancer.

On behalf of Pastor Peter and the entire ministry team of World Impact Ministries, we say, “Thank you Aurelia. God’s richest blessings in this next phase of your life. We remain firm partners in the Gospel, and thank you for the prayer support you will provide in the days ahead.”
